This is the first of a series of releases on algorithmless art. They were initially taken for myself, then I realised some months later it would be interesting to sell them as 1/1 photography. These are the only copy of the photo that exists/is ever going to exist unless you choose to licence/share it online. We could debate the philosophy of what these photos mean, but I think at the very least it's a concious path away from the current status quo that is algorthmic aesthetics. All art has to engage with the algorithm/s online to get picked up and/or noticed and so over time is willingly / unwillingly changed by the algorithm. It's interesting to think about what type of artistic futures we can imagine external to this, but I think this is the job if we don't want to live in a world of homogeneity. These photos were all taken on 35mm Sibersalz film ( I forget which exact film) in December in the week preceding Christmas in New York in 2023 :)
